WHISKEY TAVERN in Covington, Louisiana is the official home of THE WHISKEY SOCIETY of Louisiana (aka TWS) -- a Spirited Society Dedicated to the Appreciation of Fine Whiskey & Bourbons. The Whiskey Society hosts regular Whiskey Events and Tastings Catered Towards the Bourbon Enthusiast. Master Distillers from Jim Beam, Jack Daniel’s, Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, Maker’s Mark & Bulleit will host dinners at WHISKEY TAVERN & THE DIAMOND CLUB LOUNGE.

As A New Orleanian, Scott Johnson was intrigued by New Orleans' bourbon connection and wanted to pay homage to the spirit at Whiskey Tavern. Today, Whiskey Tavern and The Diamond Club Lounge offer a Large Selection American Whiskeys, many of which are rare and/or hard to find. The Diamond Club Lounge is home to an extensive Wine, Whiskey & Bourbon list.

New Orleans is closely connected with America’s only native spirit. Kentucky may be the birthplace of this American Spirit, but it was New Orleans who helped develop the aging process that produces the bourbon today.
